Pet Portraiture – Animal Art – Illustration

Pets are family. They are a pivotal part of our lives and to them, we are their whole world. It’s only natural to want to honour the love they give us. When I’m commissioned for a pet portrait, or pet memorial, I work hard to capture every aspect of them. Not only their physical traits, but their characters, their feeling, their very soul. It’s what sets that piece of art apart and will keep them alive in our hearts long after they’ve left us here on earth.

I try to meet my ‘models’ whenever practical to get a sense of them (plus its one of the best perks of the job!). Of course that’s not always possible, in which case I will ask for as many photos, videos and descriptions as you can so that I can really capture them. One clear, detailed photograph is all I really need to work from… but if you let me get to know them, I can really bring their portrait to life. And if your loved one is no longer with us, your memorial piece will be created with the utmost sensitivity.

All my materials are of the highest quality and made for longevity. Your piece of art will be created with the greatest of care and will stand the test of time.

My greatest love is animals. Therefore, naturally, it’s the subject I mainly work on. However… a new challenge now and then is really enjoyable for me!

If there’s something in particular you have in mind (perhaps a gift for someone who’s passionate about music… a huge fan of a particular movie star… a keen gardener…), then please do get in touch to see if I can help you. If the subject is not my forte, I will be honest. I may however be able to recommend another fellow artist who can help.
